Proposed Adaptive Reuse
(more info)
Produced for NewStudio Architecture (St. Paul, Minn.). Documentation of existing conditions, proposed schematic planning for the adaptive reuse of an abandoned industrial building in St. Paul, Minnesota. The proposed changes are minimal, reflecting the light industrial programming of the building’s anticipated next use. I was involved in drawing and 3D modeling the existing building - an amalgamation of structures and additions ranging from the 1930s to 1970s. I was also involved in early schematic design discussions and diagrams.

Produced for NewStudio Architecture (St. Paul, Minn.). Residential remodel of a historic East Coast home, originally built in the early 1800s. A home of this age brings atypical constraints, structural oddities, and two hundred years of incongruous renovations. I was involved in producing drawings throughout the project, which involved frequent communication between architect and client. My involvement focused in particular on millwork drawings and quick rendering mock-ups sent to the client or project team for feedback.
Former Warehouse Adaptive Reuse
(more info)
Produced for NewStudio Architecture (St. Paul, Minn.).
Documenting existing conditions of a former warehouse/chemical production facility in St. Paul, MN. Schematic design drawings and design development of a proposed fit out which would allow the site to continue to serve light-industrial use, while providing space for more contemporary office environments as well as an art gallery.
As-Built Sets and Existing Conditions Documentation
(more info)
Produced for NewStudio Architecture (St. Paul, Minn.). Documenting existing conditions, including structure, build-outs, finishes, mechanical systems and ductwork, electrical equipment, plumbing fixtures and piping. This work is done at a variety of sites for a commercial retail tenant as a part of their budgeting, design, and lease arrangement process. I have experience with several of these types of drawing sets, at sites ranging from standalone buildings, interior and outdoor mall locations, as well as new construction. These drawings are created with a high degree of detail, in order to represent any potentially non-compliant or undesirable conditions before client lease execution.
Minneapolis Basement Remodel
(more info)
Produced for NewStudio Architecture (St. Paul, Minn.).
A modest proposal to renovate an under-used, largely unfinished basement in the historic Lowry Hill neighborhood of Minneapolis. My involvement included the on-site field documentation, production of as-built drawings, design development drawings, early 3D and perspective views to illustrate concepts to client, as well as preliminary pricing estimates and communication with local contractors and subcontractors.
